DUNN, NC – Congresswoman Renee Ellmers released the following statement from her office in Dunn today:

"Yesterday, I was honored to host the Recruit-A-Vet Employment Fair to help connect our veterans and military service members with area employers. We owe our veterans a huge debt of gratitude for their service to our country.

It is important, especially in today’s economy, that we don’t just talk, but that we do everything possible to make sure they have the best career opportunities available when they return to civilian life. I am thankful for the businesses that participated and I look forward to hosting more events in the future to help members of our military and their families."

On Thursday, Congresswoman Renee Ellmers hosted the Recruit-A-Vet Employment Fair in Sanford, North Carolina. Almost 40 employers participated in the job fair, representing large and small, local and national companies.  Representatives from the companies answered questions, accepted resumes and interviewed applicants.
